We did not have the opportunity to simply test the camera, but people in XDA Developers, and in the gallery below you will notice three images. The first image was captured using Nightscape OnePlus 6, which became available with the latest firmware update for OxygenOS 9.0.2. The second image was taken with Google Camera (with Night Vision activated) on OnePlus 6 (the one that can be downloaded from the attached link), the third one was taken with Google Pixel 3 and the Night View option. As you can see, the Night View option compared to Nightscape allowed greater light in the picture, but the image is still not comparable to what Pixel 3 managed to capture, at least in this particular case, but you will have to take it out of the night and try . In any case, it seems that colors are slower, while not as balanced as Pixel 3, but it's possible that you will get different results in different scenarios. The development of this application does not stop there, so the Arnova8G2 application is likely to improve the app in the near future. In any case, Google's Night View mode actually uses a handshake in its own favor because it takes more pictures and then blends them into one. The camera combines up to 15 frames to create an image similar to a 5-second exposure. The thing is that the night view does not rely on long lasting exposure, at least not completely, so the camera is fully held (with the help of a tripod) to achieve the best shot, there is no need, as in many other modes of cameras with low light, where it is best to use a tripod. OnePlus 6 and 6T will probably never be able to deliver the same results as Pixel 3 in terms of Night Night, but another update or two of this Google Camera connection, maybe two devices can be very close, although something that users are likely to appreciate .
It is worth noting that OnePlus 6 and 6T have a noticeably different camera setting than Pixel 3, because Pixel 3 relies on a single 12.2-megapixel sensor, 1.4 in and f / 1.8 size, while OnePlus 6 and 6T come with two cameras on the back. On these two phones you can find cameras with 16 and 20 megapixels, the first offering a 1.22um pixel size and a f / 1.7 aperture, and the second sensor has a size of 1.0um pixel and a f / 1.7 aperture.
