Native King Nonidzashon Dondo, King 98, vowed to revolutionize local hip-hop music with continental powerhouses. He plans ambitious plans to conquer Africa and believes it's possible.

In April 27, King 98 will launch his debut album titled Francesca, a dedication to his mother, in a dazzling event at Harare that will feature South Africa's cream from Le Cream from Hip-Hop Nasty C and Nadia Nakai as well as locals DJ Silence Dosh, Union 5 and Tammy Moyo.

Just before Christmas, the former Watershed college student engaged in top Nigerian singer David Adedee Adele, aka David Dodo, whom he met in South Africa to produce a single titled Bad Vibe, which will be released before the end of February.

"It's all happening this year. I have been working with Davido on a song published in February," King 98 told the standard style on Thursday.

"Working with Dudo was just amazing; he was a humble man. He listened to the song when we were sitting and it didn't take him 30 minutes to record and record. Ali kay produced this song."

King 98 would have accompanied one by an equally good video.

Apart from the collaboration that King 98 believes, there is a lot to learn, especially from "big boys".

"I learned that the best in Africa are concerned about uplifting others and they are always ready to go out of their way to help. What makes it so special is that I'm not even Nigerian, but David really loved the song and my vision, "He said.

Dudo also offered to help King 98 realize his dream.

"After presenting my vision to him, David made his team team and one of the guys under his stable, Sam Frank, who is based in Lagos, will lead my business to Nigeria. Frank also manages another Nigerian singer, Mayorkun," said King. 98.

However, King 98 looks to launch his 12-track album in April as an opportunity for calibration to the demands of the art industry.

The album launch event, which was put together by his father, Thompson, is running under the theme Francesca Debut Album Release Concert.

"It will be a triple album launch that will begin with a Harare concert followed by South Africa and Nigeria," said Donno.

"King 98 is talented and deserves the best support of his parents. I will give him support so he realizes his dream. Engaging with some of the continent's great names in music is one way to expose him to the world. He enjoys it.

"I also created a degree of music and art at the University of Pretoria, which I believe will help him develop".

The album Francesca is a potpourri for ideas from different artists and producers. The album will lead a song that features Nasty C and was produced by the continent's best-ever featured elephants, divorce beats and Gemini major from the famous Family Tree records in South Africa.

King 98 has the title track emanates from his mother's name because she is the reason why he is pursuing his passion.

"My mom should get the recognition she deserves for all of the amazing things she has done for me in my life. I can't thank you for everything she did for me and the album is a dedication to her," Said 98.

"My mother knew that I was in music, but she kept her secret from my father until I finished high school. She engaged my father and both agreed that I would be supportive of what I wanted the most."

King 98 made his debut on the mainstream music scene in style when he launched his one-titled defeat on the regional urban music channel MTV Base last July.

A month later he flew to Canada, where he shared the stage with Zydanshale Sensation Winky and Dj Silence at the Impala Car Rental Africa-Canada Summer Festival in Toronto.

The young rapper, who was under the depths of Dj Sims in Zimbabwe and Frank (Nigeria), also gave a vintage act when he warmed the stage for Nasty C in August last year, considering his performance on the big stage.

King 98 performed four tracks of man, due, defeat and flex on the night sending the packed flying golf club into a frenzy.

"I can't rate myself, but some of the comments I got from my friends, on social media and in the family, gave me a good show, even some people who didn't know me before reached the end of my performance," he said. Said.

"My fan base has grown, thanks to the Nasty C show. In South Africa, where I launched my own one last year, I have been connected with a lot of people and I hope to throw my left with fans from all over the world. "

Dondo launches the album, which will be powered by his company – Impala Car Rental – at Harare International Conference Center.

"We have begun preparations for the event. After this event we would like to do other launches in South Africa and Nigeria," he said.

"I want to see Ngony realize his dream and there is no way he can grow if we don't engage with the continental boys. He now has a manager in Zimbabwe and Nigeria and we are talking to someone to run his business in South Africa. "The boy has the potential and he needs support."
