Antonio Tajani, President of the European Parliament, questioned on Thursday the government of Nicolas Maduro, President of Venezuela, during the congress European People's Party in Helsinki, Finland.
"I think it's important to send a message of solidarity to Venezuela, a country where children die of hunger and where there is no democracy," said Tajani during his speech at the event.
The parliamentarian commented that a political change is needed, which, in his view, allows for the return of democracy in the country.
