Sharjah promotes community awareness of the safety of small children in vehicles

The Sharjah community, in cooperation and coordination with the Child Safety Section of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs and the Sharjah Police General Command, organized an awareness campaign aimed at safeguarding the safety of children in the Wasit region.

During the campaign, children's car seats and awareness campaigns were distributed in order to raise awareness about the communities and promote the culture of parents by paying attention to the safety of their children in the vehicle and educating them to ensure that children are fully aware of and not neglected .

The campaign was attended by HE Thabet Salem Al Tarifi, General Manager of Sharjah and Hanadi Saleh Al Yafei, Director of Child Safety.

Al-Turaifi said that the emirate of Sharjah paid much attention to the children and became a friend, thanks to the vision and the blue instructions of his visitor, Shayka dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the ruler of Sharjah, and the support of his visitor, Sheikh Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, have an active role in building and developing, and their concern is to secure the future and human capital.

He added that with the protection of children, the municipality wants a key partner in the community and promotes compliance with the standards for safety and protection of the child, and raises awareness of all segments of society that it is important to maintain the safety of children in terms of physical, health and psychological security.

It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Child Safety distributed approximately 900 seats at the first session of 2011, and this year 366 seats were distributed in cooperation with the Federal Transport Council in cooperation with the largest number of governmental and private organizations, not only in the distribution of safe seats for children in vehicles More importantly, the culture of child protection is devoted primarily to the parents, in order to transform this culture into the routine and natural behavior of all members of society and all age groups.
