The marble “All Stars” marble campaign has been underway since November 3, 2020. The campaign lasts until Christmas Eve and means that every customer receives one marble for every purchase of CHF 20.
However, what has now many customers angry is the special promotion on Saturday 5 December, where you can only get some special marbles on the day. Therefore, various customers have purchases for several hundred Swiss francs this day. One of them was Rahel Hochuli, a stonemason who bought 300 francs and still received only one of the coveted marbles, as she put it at 20 minutes.
The cashier of Migros justified this by saying that there are not enough marbles in stock. Rahel Hochuli finds this a bottom buck, as she said to “20 minutes”: “If they say I get one marble for every 20 francs, and in the end I’m alone with one, it’s close to fake for me. “
The Migros campaign has also been sharply criticized on Twitter. Many customers would have made extra large purchases on the day to get as many special marbles as possible.
@migros Great marble disappointment with our 3.5 year old. For one time, my husband threw himself into the hustle and bustle (many people probably had the same thing in mind) and just got 1 special marble for his purchase. ? #Murrelfan

Migros apologizes for the action
On question of 20 minutes, Migros spokesman Marcel Schlatter wrote: Migros was simply surprised by the demand. The special marbles are off as warm veggies and we have them simply not enough. “
And understand the anger of customers. But they do not want to customers also must walk away with empty hands. Those who have not received any special marbles can send their receipt by e-mail.
“Migros is trying to provide an equivalent replacement. We are doing everything we can to process this as quickly as possible,” Schlatter said.
On December 23rd there should be another opportunity to get special marbles.
