Morricone, who wrote the music on several Tarantino films, was quoted in an interview in the German edition of Playboy. Among other things, he claims that the American director is "non-original", "kretin" and "not a true director".
Now Morricone denies that the interview has come and threatens the legal process. The Italian composer has turned to his lawyer and will check if the newspaper can be sued.
"I did not conduct an interview with German Playboy and I never called Tarantin's asshole, or I said that I think his films are trash. In Italy, I have authorized lawyers in Italy to file a lawsuit," says Indiewire.
