BRATISLAVA. Bratislava (DPB) will test a 18-meter electric bus on the streets of the capital (November 15). It will be used primarily in rows 21, 31, 32, 50, 61, 70, 84, 96 and 133. For everyone, it will be free.
DPB informs it on its website.
They are testing an electric bus
The electric bus is low-volume, fully air-conditioned with the occupancy of the vehicle for 39 seats and 82 standing passengers.
"The vehicle will run for about a month, during this time it will run for free to passengers, as it is not equipped with a hold-up system. The tested electric vehicle has no audio or picture messages, so drivers were instructed to stop at each stop of the line , "the carrier said.
DPB recently took the opportunity to buy 18 electric trucks (two eight meters and 16 meters) with the support of the Union.
At present, there are 16 such vehicles driving, the last two electric buses waiting for the equipment with the necessary documentation. "They will soon be in circulation," DPB said.
By testing the 18-meter electric bus, the company is checking its operation and would like to offer additional funding to fund Union funds.
Depending on the traffic conditions, this electric motor has a range of 120 to 140 km, so it will be attached to lines that correspond to this technical parameter. The occupancy of the vehicle was taken into account.
"Internal heating is electric, the body is stainless steel, the vehicle is fully equipped with LED lights and handles of stainless steel passengers," said DPB.
