Excellent performance of the subsidiary of Total Group in Senegal. According to data published by the company, in the first half of 2018, the average income in the amount of CFAF 5.407 billion was pre-tax, which is about 9.191 million dollars. According to them, it increased by 2,392 billion CFA francs compared to the same period of the previous year (in the first half of 2017), while the increase in the activity of regular income before taxation was 79.3%.
As for Total Senegal's turnover before tax at the end of June 2018, it also increased substantially by 21% in the relative value, which amounted to 184,892 billion francs against 152,488 billion CFA francs recorded on 30 June 2017, i.e. a year earlier. According to the management of Total Senegal, this success was attributable to the growth of 16.9% of domestic sales of 307.680 tonnes in the period from January to June 2018 to 263.306 tonnes over the same period of 2017.
Dynamic for maintenance
Based on its results, the French team announced that it will follow its operational excellence plan in conjunction with the dynamism and expertise of its teams. Together, Senegal suggests that this plan should allow the company to continue with the same dynamics by increasing its results in the market where it is the leader in the distribution of fuel.
