The fancy MMO "Legends of Aria", created under the influence of "Ultima Online", has great potential, according to some gaming publications.
The original name of the game "Shards Online" was changed to "Legends of Aria". The game world is also reworked.
It was initially assumed that the set would be a series of small worlds, called "fragments," connected by portals, but the Citadel studios developer decided that the fragments were too small. Instead, it was decided to create a great single game world, with a focus on uniting players.
The Early Access version of Aria's Legends will feature a new line of barred skills, a "managed" system of professions, as well as a system of enchanting weapons and armor, allowing you to use more high-class items. The new rules will provide a more consistent PvP experience for people who want to play without fear of being robbed.
We not only added a new gaming skills set and a complete system for improving armor and weapons to make Artisans in our community even more important. We also make Aria's world a much more friendly place to live. We were delighted with the fact that finally launched "Legends of Aria" on steam after so much effort and love has been invested in the game. We can't wait for MMO players of all kinds to join us on our journey, – Shared CEO Derek Brinkmann.
Legends of Aria also support Player-driven servers and modding: The game's website says "The game is designed to be modified from top to bottom, including custom game rules, user-generated content and even user-created worlds."
The launch of "Legends of Aria" on Stim Free Access is planned for August 6, and the project is expected to stay there for 6-12 months. However, the developer says the iOS will stay in the early hours "until we feel the game has no errors."
