Moscow law enforcement agencies have filed a lawsuit against a student who found explosives in his home. Now the petition for arrest is being examined by the court.
The sources of the law enforcement authorities told TASS that the prosecution was in Art. 222.1. The criminal code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transport or transportation of explosives or explosive devices by an organized group") and Article 3 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal manufacture of explosives, illegal production of explosive devices , transform or repair it, which has been committed by an organized group ").
Earlier, security forces reported that a student in a Moscow school in Freedom Street's apartment was arrested on Friday because they suspected they were making explosive devices. The source said the detainee was 14 years old. According to the negotiating partner of the agency, a teenager was released in the Arkhangelsk region during the investigation into the UFSB explosion in criminal matters. "During the course of operational activities, it was found that a Arkhangelsk 17-year-old man contacted a teenager in Moscow and talked with them," explained the agency's source.
In the Moscow apartment where the teenager lived, several types of homemade nitrate-based explosives, smoke-free dust and other explosives were taken up by an organized group for the illegal production of explosives. According to the articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, criminal responsibility for teenagers begins at the age of 14. The petition for arrest was received by the Presnensky District Court in Moscow.
"The petition for investigation is currently being investigated at the Presnensky court, with everything behind closed doors for minors," said spokesman Alexey Chernikov of RIA Novosti.
