The Huawei P20 Pro gets an update with the October changes

Huawei does not enjoy great reputation, considering the policy of updating leading smartphones (it's interesting to see models from the lower shelf). Customer dissatisfaction can also be seen on Twitter, where the topic returns as a boomerang. With more and more joy, I commend to inform you that the Huawei P20 Pro has today received security updates.

I have the impression that Huawei has read my review of the Mate 20 Pro with a lot of attention, because I also complain about support for the leading P series. To date, the P20 Pro has had security patches since … July. And now I am very perverse: of course, the October changes are satisfactory, but … about eight days ago (as I well counted it;)) it started another month, that is November.

The availability of updates has been announced, inter alia, by Ania, which you can link to as a former author with a tablet (greetings!).

By the way, the security patches are much more up-to-date than the previous one, it should be remembered that it will be upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie immediately after November 10 (or just depending on how you watch it) P20 Pro (and several other Huawei models). Of course it will be issued gradually, so I will not be surprised if the update will only appear in my country during this period, and then it will only come to Poland for a while. When this happens or if we have relevant information regarding the date of the pie share, we will contact you.

What I'm interested in is what the support for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be – what do you think, when will this model receive november changes?
