Now Apple will probably do this with its products

Tired of the gray and silver colors that cover Apple Mac products?

A 2019 patent reveals Apple’s plans

There’s a reason many people drool over the iMac Pro, as the only Mac in Apple’s range that has a slightly darker look.

Now Apple has obtained a patent for a matte black material that eats light and which they probably consider for a number of products, including the iPhone, iPad and MacBook.

Maybe this is the coin on the brand new MacBooks with a new design that will be launched next year? It makes sense together with mini LED panels, cut frames and maybe M1X or M2.

The more black, the more shiny the material, but apple has a solution

And Apple intends to take everything out: they are not happy with toy black because most consumer products do not achieve real black. To get real and really deep black, the color particles should be “fed with the pores” that you see above.

As Apple explains in this patent, there are not enough color particles on the pores over an anodized material.

You probably remember that the iPhone 7 is available in matte black. Since then (2016), Apple has grown research on this
