Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembélé is likely to be away from the football pitch during the flight as a result of an ankle injury. The club reported on Thursday.
"Unfortunately, Mousa Dembélé's investigations confirm that the ligaments on the right ankle are damaged and are unlikely to be able to play again before the new year, reports the club.
The 31-year-old loses the match in the Belgian State League against Iceland and Switzerland.
The London Club suffered a lot of damage this fall. Parts Ally, Christian Eriksen, Danny Rose, Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier suffered all injuries, while Rose and Vertonghen are still outside.
"We hope it will be available from the beginning of January," says Mauricio Pochettino, director of Dembélé.
