From 9 to 18 November, the Latvian Tartu Society will celebrate the centenary of the Latvian country with an extensive program at the Estonian National Museum and Tartu University, and the representative of the Society will be presented by Ilze Salnāja.
Latvian ambassador to Estonia Raimonds Jansons will open the Latvian week in Tartu on November 9th. 11 with the photo exhibition Zaigas Stein in the lobby of the University of Tartu, the Foreign Language School and Foreign Culture College. Photographs at the exhibition reflect the festival of songs and dance of Latvian students.
10 November at noon 16 Estonian National Museum will open an exhibition – the concept of Latvian literature "# iamintrovert" ("I'm Introverts"). This campaign was designed specifically for the London Bookshop in 2018, where writers and publishers from the Baltic States were honored.
The Latvians were presented as a nation of introvert writers with the series of emergency artists Rein Peterson's "The Life of I." In a slightly modified form, the exhibition will now be visible in Tartu. Latvian poet Artis Ostups, currently studying at doctoral studies at the University of Tartu, will take part in the opening of the exhibition and will agree with his views on introverted literature.

November 11 at noon 13. The Estonian National Museum will host the opening of an exhibition of paintings by Dace Döllnä-Lipské "Vagabonds". The artist dedicated himself to the power of the spirit of Kurzeme, a strong awareness of his identity, as well as the joy of lust in costumes.
In anthropological journeys, Dace Dēliņa-Lipska became acquainted with similar ancient ethnic traditions in Estonia – Seth and Kihnu, which have up to now preserved their ancient customs and traditions. In the contemporary message on the topic of national identity – the painting cycle "Saucējas" – the artist presented both Alsun apartments and women Seth and Kihni from Estonia. The exhibition with its own sound was filled with a collection of Latvian folklore "Saulesmeitas" from Tīnūži.
On November 11th at noon, 16 in cooperation with the Baltic Defense Academy and the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in Estonia, which reminds of fallen soldiers, the annual candlelight fire and the singing of the Latvian hymn at the Latvian cemetery Sagittarius and refugees at the Uus-Jaani cemetery.

On 17 November, the Latvian national film film will be held at the Estonian National Museum at the Latvian National Film Institute and will also visit museum guides, with a special emphasis on the crossings of the history of Latvia and Estonia. At 12 pm, 13 folklore ensembles "Mezabela" will be held.
On 18 November, at the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Latvian state, a comprehensive marking program is planned in the Estonian National Museum. There will be free guided tours for participants, with a special emphasis on the crossroads of Latvia and the history of Estonia – at noon. 11. A festive feeling is the Latvian bread market, where you can buy different crafts and crafts. The museum will have the opportunity to follow the centennial celebration of the Republic of Latvia for live coverage on the screen at the entrance to the museum.
