Microsoft: Fortify the Xbox One soon with the mouse and the keyboard

From the following week, you can use the mouse and keyboard to control Fortune on the Xbox One. Microsoft announced this as part of the Fan Fest X018 in Mexico. Sagittarius Fortnite is one of the most popular video games. In addition to the co-op Warframe shooter, one of the two titles you can use next week on the Xbox with your mouse and keyboard.

According to Microsoft, New York bombs, Deep Rock Galactic, Strange Brigade, Vermintide 2, War Thunder and X-Morph Defense are being rolled out all the time. They are followed by Children of Morta, DayZ, Minion Master, Moonlighter, Vigor, Warface and Wargroove. From next week, all developers must have the opportunity to customize their game with the mouse and the keyboard.

This step is completely optional, Microsoft announced in September. Microsoft gives developers the ability to include mouse and keyboard support in their games as an alternative to the gaming panel – not as a replacement. Finally, it's the decision that developers have.

In fact, the mouse and keyboard are already working on the Xbox. At the operating system level, users can enter and send messages with the keyboard. Using adapters that translate keyboard input into virtual input devices, you can now control games with your mouse and keyboard. However, this method does not work perfectly.

For many years now, Microsoft has promised full support for the mouse and keyboard on the Xbox – now the company finally puts this step into practice. In many games, the mouse and the keyboard are more accurate than controlling gaming panels, especially for shooters. In competitive online shootouts, muscle players have an important advantage.

In other genres, including sports and combat games, the gaming board is often pre-packed by a tinted stick and easily accessible buttons and triggers. Also, because the gamepad is easier to use on the couch, it will still be the standard way to enter Xbox.

To solve this problem, you can send players to separate servers with the mouse, which splits the players' base. How they will behave in Xbox in the future, lies with the appropriate developers.
