SANTO DOMINGO. The governor of the Central Bank, Héctor Valdez Albizu, will analyze the Dominican economy and supervision of the financial system in accordance with the law on money laundering and terrorist financing during the 52nd Annual Assembly of the Latin American Federation of Banks (Felaban). , which will collect over 1,600 bankers.
The event, co-ordinated by the Association of Commercial Banks of the Dominican Republic (ABA) and Felabana, will take place from 11 to 14 November at the Hard Rock Punta Cana International Convention Center.
The Assembly brings together delegates from more than 40 countries, in particular from Latin America, the United States, Europe and the Asian continent.
The participants will discuss issues in the economic and financial fields, so that the participants will strengthen their business relations at the international level.
In the end, the new President Felaban will be announced.
Representatives of the Brazilian Federation of Banks (Febraban), the World Bank and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) will be presented, inter alia.
