With the purpose of delivering a better service for its users, WhatsApp tells some changes some time ago.
By its official blog, the popular instant messaging platform showed the list of mobile devices that will work soon.
If earlier the app has stopped offering support for BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone 8.0, the next ones in the list will be the computers that work with Nokia S40.
As of December 31, 2018, WhatsApp will stop working under the operating system.
"Because we are no longer developed functions for the operating systems, some functions can keep working at any time," the company explained.
Later it will be the Turn of the Terminals with Android 2.3.7 and earlier (after February 1, 2020) and the iPhone with iOS 7 and earlier (after February 1, 2020).
"The platforms do not have the ability to expand the list of functions of our application in the future," assessed the people in charge of the application.
In the event that WhatsApp stops operating on a smartphone, one of the possible solutions is for the user to update the operating system. If this is not possible, the only thing that's left is to apply to similar applications (such as telegram), or properly change the equipment.
