On Monday afternoon, the police confirmed that the body of the 37-year-old St John, when he was a truck, left the bridge on Lake St. John, near Terra Nova.
The human body was found about a kilometer from the river, from where the vehicle was found submerged.
The truck was worn by three other people who circled it safely.
The next person was notified on Monday after Glovertown RCMP found the body during aerial surveys of the area using universal helicopters.
At about 4 o'clock Sunday, Glovertown RCMP received a report that the vehicle had left the road and was immersed in a water body located in the wild outside the Terra Nova community.
Glovertown RCMP and Bonavista Bay search and rescue searched the coast for Sunday during the day. The team led by RCMP came to the scene and searched for a sunken vehicle and its surroundings until they were running out of daylight.
The police continued the investigation on Monday until his body was found.
