Two teens were charged with robbery after an incident at the NSLC store at Downsview Mall in Lower Sackville on Thursday evening.

The RCMP district of Halifax responded to the call for a robbery in alcohol trade at 6 am, the press release said.

On the spot in minutes, police took the 16-year-old boy into the store, and then two other youngsters were arrested.

"The suspect entered the store that was wearing a mask, tried to steal alcohol from the store and there was abuse, between him, the shopkeeper and the customers," he said. "He said he had a firearm, but he did not have any firearms."

The employees and the client detained the suspects until the police arrived.

The suspect and the client suffered minor injuries.

A 16-year-old boy is charged with robbery, wearing a mask, committing a crime and attacking his weapon, said RCMP.

The 13-year-old from Lower Sackville faces charges of robbery, an assault on weapons and the threatening of threats.

Both appear at a youth court in Halifax on Friday morning.

The third teenager was relaxed at no cost.
