East Ontario MPP Amanda Simard is leaving the progressive conservative party to sit as an independent.
The representative of Glengarry Prescott Russell, which included the Eastern army of Ottawa and Eastern Churches, has no reason in the letter of veto to the editors.

She wants to comment on Radio-Canada Wednesday morning after the news broke.
However, she is vocally opposed to her party's frankincan palaces over the last week and she was invited to her future with the PCs.
These policies include the dismissal of the French language service commissioner's French-speaking services.
The PCs are moving ahead with the cancellation of funding for a new French-language university.
Simard was elected for her first term at Queen's Park this June to represent the riding with many frankpones.
The most recent census has shown that 66% of her riding population can perform a conversation in both official languages.
She was the first Non-Liberal MPP for the Riding, which was created in 1999.
