Two gray whales have been banned from Vancouver's south bank on Friday afternoon.
The Whales appeared to be stuck away by the Bayerian Bay of Centennial Beach.
The tide was low over time, but it was the wheels that were still partially submerged, CTV News reports.
Fisheries and Oceans Canada confirmed the whales were still alive at 4:45 pm
The Vancouver Aquarium said it was sending a crew and a coast guard helicopter was also on the scene.
Loads are starting to form as cruises set up for the operation.
Officials are asking the public to stay at least 100 meters away.
