(Ebel / compact) Premier: In addition to Innsbruck, the capital cities of Vienna and the EU VSV have taken the opportunity to engage with their staff.
Spas of the Vienna Capital has responded to the last five defeats by giving the most goals (27) from all 12 league clubs and bringing a new defender to the US Patrick Mullen. The 32-year-old arrived in Europe for the first time in 2016 and defended her for Riga (KHL), Linköping (SWE) and Mannheim (DEL). Most of his career has survived a huge defender, but so far in the US Hockey League (AHL), where he scored between 41 and 142 in 414 missions of 183 points between 2009 and 2017 (41T / 142A). "After the injuries associated with our defenders Marc-André Dorion and Mat Clark, the time has come to strengthen the defense. With Patrick Mullen we could commit ourselves to an experienced right goalkeeper who will not only have 414 competitions in the AHL- but he is also familiar with European hockey, "said Franz Kalla, Managing Director of Vienna Capitals. Patrick Mullen completed his first practice on Saturday with the Viennese capitals.
Due to the long-lasting damage of Christof Kromp, the EC Panaceo VSV became active in the transfer market and committed to US Kevin Goumas on the basis of experiments.
The 26-year-old striker, who serves the center and wing, began his hockey career at the Canterbury School and Indiana Ice before moving to the University of New Hampshire. He survived four seasons and scored exactly as many points in 146 matches (44 goals and 102 assists).
Then Goumas followed the call to AHL, where he debuted at the Michi Raffla, Adorondack Phantom team. In the 2014/2015 season, he played for the first time in the US Hockey League for the first time. In the jersey of the Phantom Valley, Lehigh attacked the VSV attacker Brandon Alderon. In general, Goumas came to 132 AHL cartridges and reached 34 points (13 hits and 21 assists).
In 2016, he bundled for the first time in Europe in the Allsvenskan (2nd leg) league. With 14 goals and 30 assistants in the first round and six more goals and three assisted referees, Goumas had a significant share in the rise of the Mora to SHL. The next summer, however, it fell. Due to knee injury, the Americans missed the entire past season.
Goumas struggled hard on his return, which he finally succeeded at Björklöven this year. After eight missions, they separated and took advantage of the VSV opportunity. After thorough medical examinations and some ice units, head coach Gerhard Unterluggauer decided to equip Kevin Goumas with a trial contract for the next ten games.
