The UFC 255 Preliminary Card Finished in High Drama as No. 1 Flight Weight Contender Brandon Moreno Finished Brandon Roval with a First Round TCO.
After this stop, it was quickly realized that something was very wrong with Royval.
As Moreno cemented his status as the next title challenger with a ground and point finisher, replies showed a submission hold rival with a paralyzed shoulder in the final seconds of the fight.
While the referee rushed in to hold the contest, Royval was seen flailing on the ground as he clutched at his right arm.
When he kicked his legs out, clearly in pain, UFC legend Daniel Cormier and commentator Joe Rogan realized he was in trouble.
“Hey there is something wrong with Royval, really my goodness,” Cormier said.
“He grimaced and you could see that he was hurting.”

Rogan eventually spotted that Royval’s shoulder had clearly been ripped out of its socket.
As they spoke, Royval’s coach Marc Montoya popped his shoulder back into place.
“Oh wow, look at his arm. Oh, he’s in agony, “Rogan said.
“It looked like he was pushing his shoulder out of his socket. I think his shoulder is out of the socket. Oh you can see it, oh man, this is nasty.
“It’s so crazy. It’s the weirdest injury ever.”
Combat sports journalist Kevin Yol wrote on Twitter of the distressing moment: “When they went to take Royval’s glove from his right hand, he screamed in pain and pulled away.”
Royval was able to stay in the Octagon for the official decision before being taken away for treatment.
ROGAN LOSES IT ABOUT UFC ‘ABSOLUTE MADNESS’
UFC 255 exploded right out of the blocks on the preliminary card with an explosive three-round war between two fighters making their debut.
The rollercoaster fight between Sasha Palatnikov and Louis Cosse left UFC commentator stunned as the fight left both fighters collapsed on the floor.
The momentum of the fight repeatedly replaced the hands over the fight with both welterweights recovering from crazy strikes that left them an inch from his stop.
In the end, it was Palatnikov that ended the madness with a TKO late in the third round after he caught Cosse trying to protect his head when he found himself on the floor in a dangerous position.
The action was finally called when Palatnikov landed a series of blows to Cosse’s head.
Before the finish, the action is down in chaos.
Rogan was screaming into his microphone in the first round after Palatnikov landed hammer fists, but he was desperately hanging on when Cosse rocked him with a fine jab.
Before the round was finished, however, Palatnikov finished the round with a sweet spinning back fist that dropped Cosse.
“Oh, my goodness, oh my God, what a way to start the night,” Rogan said as Cosse took control.
“Madness in that first round, absolute madness,” he said.
“A very close round in Chaosville.”
Both fighters were warned in the later rounds for accidental groin shots, but the insane fight conducted with both fighters exhausted.
When Cosse left collapsed on the octagon floor with the referee covering him, Palatnikov also collapsed to the ground with pure icy.
Palatnikov took the fight only with two weeks notice to make his debut in the promotion.
He seems sure to get another look.
“You give me a whole camp, and I will exclude anyone in the division,” Palatnikov said.
