The oil area "San Rafael" will be auctioned again after contracting britches

In 2008, the government of Celso Jaque carried out a great oil tissue in the two provincial basins, providing several oil companies to different areas, although the most favored state of the IPF.
Some of these areas remained for a year in a "limbo" and the signed contracts were terminated in breach. Many of the tenders are reversed and in recent days the recession of two others took place: Ñacuñán and San Rafael
After a litigation for breaks of contracts about a decade ago, finally, an agreement could be reached and a final closure to the conflict was concluded. The area will return to the province and can be tended in the short term.
As explained by the Chief of Hydrocarbons, "The areas were awarded to Ketal Cable in the Tender organized in 2008 and were later transferred to IPF in 2011. By any geological interest for the company, in agreement with the Province, Y. P. opted for paying the amounts not invested and in this way leave the empty areas for other operators "
This is the normalization of oil contracts in the province, a process that over eight areas has been reversed, putting them back into production. Now, the province will be able to re-edit the areas following the successful experience of other cases such as Los Parlamentos en El Sosneado.

The area is in experience
There is an area that is located in the north and west of the department, which has some exploration works just over 40 years ago.
The drilling of exploratory wells dates back to the 60s and 70s, some of which did not have the support of seismic prospecting, especially those located in the Huayververy area, due to the intricacies of the relief.
The data of the time did not spell information, despite its exploratory interest, given the close proximity to the discoveries made in the southern region of the Mendoza Norte productive complex.
The seismic work is limited to the "train" area that connects the station of Monte Coman, Guadales and Aristides Villanueva. The drilling carried out in this area crossed sedimentary sequences similar to those of Mendoza Norte, with good petrochemical conditions, but saturated with salt water. However, here again the information provided is inconspicuous Insospar as it insisted on investigating classic structures, leaving off the stratigraphic closets. It may be said that there is a practically unexplored area in relation to its surface extension.
