A 100-kilometer long car is built in Europe and could tell us what makes our universe grow and how it does it.
The Future Circular Collider will be built between Swiss and French borders and is designed to break into unknown territory in the field of particle physics.
It is set to be an upgrade on the current largest car on Earth, the big Hadron collider, which is set to reach the limits of its discovery around the year 2035 and, in that case, bigger is better.
The Big Hadron Collider is 27 kilometers long, but the new one is set to be 100 kilometers long.
So what do these machines actually do?
For example, two beams made of infinitely small particles are fired around the massive circular machine at almost the speed of light, held in place by electromagnets, which are up to 15 meters long.
They then break into each other at tremendous speeds. Scientists study the results of these collisions to see what kind of matter was created by the energy of the particles hitting each other.
Because of this, they hope to find the atomic structure of the "dark energy" force that NASA drives the universe to expand.
"One of the goals of producing a bigger accelerator than the Big Hadron Collider is to get enough energy to produce some dark matter directly into your experiment and discover what it is," Professor Clancy James of the Kurtin Institute From radio astronomy told 10 daily.
With higher speeds achieved in this massive car, and more magnets needed to control the beams, the size of the machine is critical.
"You can only get magnets to be a certain strength, so you need to build a much bigger tunnel to be able to get their high energy particles back to where they are … that's why you need to build a physically bigger one. Thing, "said Professor James.

Professor James reassured anyone who was worried about unintended consequences, however. He kept 10 daily, there was no accidental black hole created by the experiments.
As the types of particle collisions are already occurring around the Earth's higher energy atmosphere, we've succeeded in producing a black hole through which Professor James said, the new collar should be safe.
